The Scarf Bergara Wore (TSBW) is an independent, award-winning, fanled football media platform dedicated to celebrating the culture, humour and reality of supporting Stockport County FC.

Founded in 2015 by Russ Johnson, TSBW started life as a grassroots podcast and has grown into a multiplatform channel spanning podcasts, video, blogs, social media and live events. Everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: football is better when fans are at the centre of the conversation.

We produce consistent, high quality content for County supporters across the week and
across platforms:

• Weekly podcasts covering previews, reviews and club discussion
• Live shows with realtime fan interaction
• Live events and in depth interviews with players, staff, former players and fan figures
• Written blogs offering opinion, reflection and matchday perspective
• Shortform video and social content, including matchday moments and clips

Our content ranges from tactical analysis to terrace humour — and everything in between. We’re serious about football, but we never forget why we fell in love with it in the first place.

TSBW is run by a volunteer team of podcasters, bloggers and technical support — all County fans, all giving their time because they care.
